The Credit Help Process

Many of our visitors have questions on how the dispute process in credit help actually works. Here is a breakdown of the credit help process.

1. You pass your credit reports on to your credit help company. The first step in the credit help process is to forward your credit reports to your credit repair service. If you don't know how to secure your free credit reports, your credit help company can help you do so once you sign up. You are entitled to one free credit report per year from each of the three credit bureaus. You will also forward the updated credit reports that are sent to you from the bureaus after each dispute cycle concludes to your credit help service.
2. You select the items you would like to dispute. When your credit help company receives your credit reports, they will enter the information into an electronic database. You will then have access to this database and an online credit help disputation manager to select the items you would like to dispute. Selecting items to dispute is as easy as pointing and clicking. The entire process can be completed from your home computer.
3. Your credit help company works your case. Once your credit help company knows which items to dispute, they will begin working your case with the credit bureaus. Your questionable items will be professional disputed with the credit bureaus by a team of competent legal professionals. Depending on how many items you chose to dispute, this step may be repeated for future dispute cycles.
4. You wait for results. By law, the credit bureau has 30 days to investigate the dispute made by your credit help company. If the item cannot be verified within this time, the item must be removed from your credit report and an updated copy of your report must be sent to you. Usually, you will receive an updated report about 60 days after your credit help service files the dispute with the bureau. You will forward these updated reports to your credit help service so they can track their progress.
